The Historic Preservation book is an in-house initiative that I designed with a fast-paced turnaround for the business development practice area focused on preservation and modernization for the French Consulate in Houston, Texas.
As a graphic designer in marketing, this project underscored the potential of deeper collaboration between our teams.I developed a visually striking design, starting with a full-spread image cover that set the tone for the content. To reflect the theme of preservation, I incorporated old sketches as overlays on contemporary images, creating a compelling blend of historical and modern aesthetics. Additionally, I introduced a fresh layout style that became a benchmark for the creative services in-house team. The book's success was evident—it resonated so well with its audience that additional copies had to be reprinted to meet demand.
