Welcome! I’m Flor Barajas, a bilingual multidisciplinary marketing graphic designer with six years of experience in the marketing, design, and AEC industries. Currently working as a Marketing Graphics Coordinator at Page, Inc., I specialize in human-centered design, crafting concept-driven solutions that connect, inspire, and make an impact. My expertise includes corporate branding, editorial visual design, experiential design, infographics, presentations, UI solutions, and environmental graphic systems.
My work spans multilingual projects across departments, focusing on user-centered design, marketing materials, and editorial content. Collaborating closely with the Marketing Director, I’ve developed impactful social media campaigns, video motion graphics, and staff presentations. With a strong emphasis on creative direction, typography, and design-thinking solutions, I approach every project with a thoughtful, concept-driven methodology to deliver simple, effective, and beautifully crafted designs.
My Design Philosophy approach to typography and visual design draws inspiration from global influences, informed by lessons from The Politics of Design: A (Not So) Global Design Manual for Visual Communication by Ruben Pater. I believe in leveraging diverse cultural perspectives to create designs that resonate universally while respecting their contextual origins. By acknowledging the cultural, political, and social contexts behind design elements, I ensure my work is inclusive, meaningful, and visually compelling. This philosophy enriches my approach, fostering a broader understanding of design’s impact and enabling every project to connect deeply with diverse audiences.
