In collaboration with Professor Claudia Roeschmann as our professional practice advisor, Coordinator Christine Haney as our right hand, and my dear colleague Palak Modi, I designed and created the environmental graphic design installation for the MFA Showcase 2018 exhibition at Texas State University.
The idea was to create a pixelated fun environment, borrowed from the MFA typeface design.
Why post-it notes as our primary material? We not only choose a material that would not damage the gallery walls but also show the organic beauty possible with a post-it installation. We worked during winter break and created an installation consisting of two gallery walls and windows, two boards, an invitation poster, and a photo booth.
