Data tells a story. While many of us are accustomed to seeing art in a museum setting, here in Austin, it is a little different. So, why is that? By comparing the West vs. the East in the city of Austin of the Art In Public Places Program (AIPP) funded public artworks, the goal was to take the raw data of the public open portal database of and uncover its story.
The research for this project led me to speak during Austin Design Week  Austin Design WeekSXSW Texas State University Innovation Lab, and the first Grow with AIGA Austin Conference in March 2019.
