Flor Barajas is a multi-disciplinary bilingual communication design researcher with a human-centered design approach studies the interconnectedness between equity and diversity in design. During her MFA in Communication Design masters program at Texas State University, she worked as a graduate assistant in the Common Experience Department. Her work has led her to talk in Austin Design Week, the SXSW Innovation Lab, the AIGA Grow Conference in Austin, and the Tipografía Mexico in UDEM Monterrey, Mexico. When she’s not at the MFA studio, attending art exhibits, or painting on a canvas, she wanders to another country to find the perfect chai latte.
